Manley Mere is a family run business operating since 1984. Originally a dairy farm, the owners Mike and Jane Houlbrooke decided to make more use of their land with the love of watersports. As the years past the centre has developed and grown into a multi watersport’s and land activity hub with a family friendly atmosphere. The centre has seen many changes over the years but at its core is still a powerful love for adventures, family and friends.
The cafe has always been a part of Manley Mere first serving customers in 1986 introducing the first cappuccino machine. Since then it’s undergone refurbishment and much more to create a warm and friendly atmosphere with a stunning backdrop. Serving customers daily the cafe has a wide selection of hot and cold beverages as well as a seasonal menu using local produce where possible.
Our 40 acre lake offers a comfortable size for a wide variety of watersports. The man made lake has undergone two extensions to create the lake we have today. The lakes depth is managed to maintain an average depth of 10ft with certain areas of the lake being as deep as 16ft. This provides a safe learning environment for variety of water users.
A labour of the love, the adventure trail has been a staple activity for Manley Mere. Created with fun and adventure in mind the 1.5 mile trail hosts 40+ obstacles designed to get hearts racing and smiles.
Installed in 2017 this 200m² inflatable water park has a capacity for 50+ participants and is one of the largest aqua parks in the area.
