Powerboating is a fun, fast and exhilarating sport. Whatever your ambition – from a 2-hour taster to a 2-day course enabling you to hire boats in the Mediterranean – Manley Mere has the course for you.

If you are lucky enough to already own a boat, the knowledge you will gain will enable you to get the most out of your boat, to use it safely and to handle it more confidently.

Powerboat Taster (2 hours)
1 person £70 / 2+ people £50 pp

A high-powered introduction to powerboat handling. Take the helm of our training RIB to have a go at low-speed boat handling and high-speed blasting.

RYA Powerboat Level 1 (Inland) (1-day) £110
An introduction to launching and recovering a boat from a trailer, everyday boat handling and safety equipment. 
Please bring a passport size photo for certificate. 

RYA Powerboat Level 2 (Inland) (2-day) £200 pp / 3+ people £180 pp

This course will provide you with a good level of boat handling and seamanship skills, giving you the confidence to use and skipper a powerboat unsupervised.

RYA Safety Boat (2-day) £200 pp

The Safety Boat course provides the skills required when acting as escort craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes, for racing or training activities.

ICC Certification & Coastal Endorsements £80 pp

As well as RYA training we offer the International Certificate of Competence (ICC). The ICC is for boat owners visiting the many countries where these certificates of competence are required. If you are planning to sail, cruise or charter anywhere in Europe or the Mediterranean the RYA recommends that skippers hold the ICC.
