How to find Manley Mere
From the M56 (Manchester):
  • Take Junction 14 to "Helsby".
  • Take 1st left to "Helsby" off the slip road.
  • 1 mile on at traffic lights next to New Helsby Arms Pub, the brown tourist boards start, saying "Windsurfing Centre". Follow these signs.
  • Turn right to "Chester" on the A56.
  • Pass the Wheatsheaf Pub & Dunham Arms.
  • Take the next left to "Manley & Barrow". (B5132)
  • 100metres on take the 1st left to "Manley".
  • 1mile on at T-junction, turn left, then immediately turn right, into "Manley Lane."
  • Manley Mere Sail Sports will be on your left.
From Chester:
  • Take A56 from Chester to "Helsby/Frodsham".
  • Go under the M53 and through "Mickle Trafford".
  • Pass the "Shrewsbury Arms" & "The Nags Head" pubs.
  • Cross over a bridge and take the next right to "Barrow" (B5132).
  • 100 metres on take the first left to "Manley".
  • 1 mile on at T-junction, turn left, then immediately turn right, into "Manley Lane."
  • Manley Mere Sail Sports will be on your left.

From A51 Manchester - Chester Road
  • Travelling from Manchester, 3 miles ourside Chester at the Stamford Bridge traffic lights & pub, turn right to "Barrow". (B5132)
  • Go through Barrow & Little Barrow passing the Foxcote pub.
  • Round two hairpin bends until you reach crossroads.
  • Turn right towards "Manley" - following the brown tourist boards, saying "Windsurfing Centre".
  • 1mile on at T-junction, turn left, then immediately turn right, into "Manley Lane."
  • Manley Mere Sail Sports will be on your left.
